	It was a slow start due to an epic search for a good oscilloscope probe, but we prevailed and were able to wire up one white dell ps 2 mouse. The good probe is labeled 'good'. 	We then wired up another supposively working dell ps2 mouse - after our earlier epic fail. Since we were suddenly very serious about seeing some kind of success, we decided to leave the ps2 connector on the mouse, and hook it directly to the old win98 pc. 	*We cut the PS2 connector off of the first mouse sacrificed for the cause. The resulting mouse cable has very nice higher gauge wire.
