Description

This page captures the important design criteria that should be considered when designing the control system.

Criteria

  • Universal (usable by everyone) - The controls should be lightweight and compact so they can be transported.
  • Quick setup/teardown
  • Simple
  • Durable/Reliable
  • Movable - Drivers should be able to move around the driver station given that their site may be blocked by game pieces.
  • Functional/practical
  • Have  the "...ilities": debuggability, manufacturability, repairability
  • Cool/flashy
  • Cost Effective
  • Ergonomic
