Some hard fought progress – we had it back together and kicking last night. Main assembly is bolted to frame, main front overhead support is drilled and bolted. Chain is on the unit. Replacement pan for window motors was slotted for adjustment and painted?. Need to swap out at some point. Rear legs need to have plugs inserted and spotted and drilled / threaded to the frame. Also need to attach safety cable – we have all the hardware – minor fitting required. I will be bringing in clamps and alternate rubber parts options.

I am picking up two band saw blades at Lowes this noon hour – there are 3 details Mike gave me late last night. Two 1/8 sheet metal pieces, one block – could be Aluminum or nylon – drawings are on our shelf – face up.

Recap from my perspective on activities I observed:

1. Drilled and anchored the rear supports.

2. The slotted and painted drive pan got mounted – works great to tension the chain.

3. Built supports (short ~3”channel pieces each side) to hold the outboard rails so that the front channel can be removed. These might ob temp for now.

4. Cut 1/8 stock for the 2 different plate prints you left us (thrasher parts) 2 each – still need holes in them. On the table opposite the mill.

5. Squared up a black nylon block 1” x 1” x 2.75” for the 3rd detail. Needs holes and tapped threads. On table opposite mill.

6. At end of night – read supports and top supports were removed for painting.

7. Pulleys and shafts made and mounted for rubber tension cords – minor finishing required.

8. Travel limiting cable was mounted and is functional. Adjustments?

9. Safety latch lever was loosely located and mocked up – need side to side bushings and option to go to 3/8 shaft?

10. Several roll pins were put in the kicker structure joints – diagonal to bolts, 2 per location.

11. Much stock was cut for crane, continued to build up subassemblies – Christian asked me to bring in my M-10 dies for tonight.

12 Weighed everything that goes on the robot that we could find – we have some challenges, see attached spread sheet for a template we could use.
