2009:RIT Regional Preparation

Here is a list of general things that need to be completed to prepare us for the RIT Finger Lakes Regional
Subteams should each maintain their own lists for robot related items.

RIT Regional Preparation

1. Test out our Pit Setup
2. Develop Pit Slideshows/Videos
3. Pack up our tools & spare materials (WE NEED a new box to hold a leaking battery)

6. Make more buttons!!
7. Collect up our spirit materials (buy needed items, WE HAVE facepaint, WE MAY NEED hairpaint, etc!!)
8. Arrange for chaperones (with Mr. Brewer?)
9. Make giant orbit ball - or at least make two of the 6 strips for autographing.  Pack Sharpies with strips.
10. Practice our cheers (so the new students know them!)
11. Train entire team in "Safety at the Competition" Requirements
12. Select Safety Captain and alternates, and have them read the FIRST safety manual
13. Update Team Safety manual - add safety talks, incident reports
14. Print out competition safety checklist
15. Business Plan for Entrepreneurship Award - update the book and train students on what is in it
16. Design/Controls Award - select a design feature and make sure everyone (especially the pit crew) can talk it up
