Tasks Completed

  • Finished wiring the controls onto the actual sheet metal interface
  • Fixed miscellaneous wiring issues (3 way toggle switch LEDs were reversed, soldered yellow/white pin back onto ribbon connector, Replaced a broken 2-way toggle switch, covered resistors with electrical tape)
  • Painted the yellow thunderbolt
  • Implemented cable management with cable ties onto the the electrical controls
  • Tested the toggle switch LEDs, signal light LEDs and control
  • Mounted saitek arm/manipulator joystick with velcro onto the sheet metal
  • Determined the correct timing for the pontentiometers (from ADC) for the autonomous delay. It'll be a digital value from 0-15.

Tasks In Progress

  •   Program the known controls correctly with the cypress board

Tasks to Complete

  • Find a way to protect the bottom of the control interface.
    • Lexan is currently being considered.
    • Possibly split the lexan into different "zones" or as a straight piece with bars on the bottom side to mount the lexan.
  • Determine what functions the toggle switches will perform
  • Determine how the cover for the joysticks will be implemented
  • Consider a "safety" for the classmate to secure it "better?"

Materials Needed

  • Lexan for the bottom of the control interface.
