Tasks Completed:
- Discussed the pros and cons of mounting positions--transmission/chassis or hopper
Pros on Chassis --> (Over CIM motors)
- Better protection
- Less pain!!!
- More secure
Cons on all Chassis
- 3" marker limit - which makes our first design fail.
- Difficult access
- Less clearance and more cramming
- Difficult wiring
- Larger chance of shorts
Pros on Mounting on Hopper
- Lots of space
- Small chance of shorts because of space
Cons for Mounting on Hopper
- Weight concerning large guage wire
- If mounted on lexan, unstable
- If tipped, electronics could get damaged
Tasks In Progress:
- Process on choosing mount locations-- Chassis or Hopper
Tasks to Complete:
- Talk to Mechanical 1/2 for status on Chassis, do we still have a 3" limit? WE NEED DIMENSIONS.
- Aquire transmission dimensions
- Hybrid design..? Some on Chassis and some on Hopper?
