Goals: [edit]
- Determine piston and placement
- Start CAD design for elevator
- test feasability for brake for carrige
Accomplishments/Creations:[edit]
- Progress in CAD
- Determined cylinders for moving elevator
- re-designed assembly to not require latch
- We've been testing a different method of pivoting the elevator which would make the mechanism a latch to hold it upright.
- cyliner: https://www.mcmaster.com/6498k995
Learned:[edit]
- Use vectors to calculate forces in complex assemblies
