Creating a .STP file

  1. Right-click on the tab for the drawing and select "Export".

  2. In the dialog box that appears:

    1. Modify the 'File name' to match the part name (i.e. delete the "- Drawing 1..." text)
      NOTE: The file will be saved into your Downloads folder (e.g. C:\Users\username\Downloads)

  1. Click 'Export'

    1. Set 'Format' to "STEP".

    2. Set options to "Download".

    3. The rest can remain as is.

    4. Click 'Export'
