  • tested prototypes
    • compared folding v. telescoping arm
      • release mechanism - needs 1 person for folding arm, 2 for telescoping arm
      • telescoping - may stick inside, in case of being skewed is useless and unfixable
      • folding arm is overall better, as it has a harder time breaking, has less friction
      • both have a simple stopping mechanism that should work quite well - latch-fold pin-tele
      • NOTE: telescoping prototype did not work at all at first - telescoping part was too rough
      • Upper structure 85% done.
    • determined which arm to use(telescope or folding[scale 1-10 {1 worst 10 best}]
