Tasks Completed

• Determined we need to buy a new battery for the laptop
  • Thinkpad r51/52(e) 9-cell battery ranges from $10-$35 on ebay, similar prices elsewhere
• Researched joysticks to use on control board
  • Two Logitech Attack 3s. same as prev. years
  • One Saitek Flight joystick, same as 2011 controls

• Researching buttons and switches to use on the control board
• Working on design layout to put in Inventor
  • Possible design mocked up in Paint(see below)
• Considering use cases

Tasks To Do

• Determine whether drivers prefer left-hand or right-hand aux joystick arrangement
• Consult with other subteams for broken switches, control considerations, etc.
• Create final Inventor design with driver.subteam input
• Do more research on buttons/sliders/switchers/anything else
• Choose control system (Freescale Tower, or something else)
