Master To-Do List (In Priority Order w/ Soft Dates)

  1. Transfer mock board to real board.  This includes cutting proper length cables for the drivetrain and power distribution.(Deadline: Saturday Feb. 7)
  2. Cut sensor wires to length for drive train (This includes 4 lengths of PWM cables which go to each motor's encoder plus 4 lengths of PWM cables for the mouse) (Deadline: Saturday Feb. 7)
  3. Mount 120A breaker (Deadline: Saturday Feb. 7) velcro'ed but could also add 2 screws
  4. Make at LEAST one fully working mouse (this means having 4 outputs - 2 phases for Up/Down motion and 2 phases for Left/Right motion) (Deadline: Saturday Feb. 7)
  5. Cut plastic shrouds on any upper assembly motors that have them.  Solder (if needed) pigtails on and crimp on quick disconnects (each leg uses a different gender) (Deadline: Sunday Feb. 8)
  6. Work with Mech on how to mount our panels (Deadline: Sunday Feb. 8)
  7. Cut upper assembly motor (conveyors, ball shooter, and door motoros ) wires to rough length (Deadline: Early Sunday Feb 8 (needs to be done BEFORE upper mechanism is assembled)).
  8.  Cut upper assembly sensor wires (limit switches (2), Omron conveyor sensors (2), Banner ball sensor, Ball shooter encoder) wires to rough length. (Deadline: Early Sunday Feb 8 (needs to be done BEFORE upper mechanism is assembled)).
  9. Install Battery Box (Deadline: Early Tuesday Feb 10 (install this BEFORE upper mechanism is installed or it will be tougher to do!))'
  10. Route wire/hook up motors in upper assembly with wires prepped in item 7. (Deadline: Tuesday Feb 10)
  11. Route wire/hook up sensors for upper assembly with wires prepped in item 8. (Deadline: Tusday Feb 10)
  12. Make up to 3 spare mice. (Deadline: Wednesday Feb 11)
  13. Fabricate protective electrical cover. (Deadline: Wednesday Feb 11)
  14. Complete Bill of Materials (Deadline: Friday Feb 13)
  15. Mount cRIO on its plate and onto robot.   Mounting plate is attached to robot Feb 8.

  • Count up I/O and determine number of side cars necessary  we will make it work with one sidecar (but allow space on the elec board for 2)
  • Find/buy Lexan to make protective cover (goes over side electrical board) at Harris - need to bring to school
  • Design "homemade" shaft encoder for conveyor motors.
  • Communicate sensor mountings to Mechanical teams.- Integration
  • Re-determine model positions- "Who's this model?" -oranges "I didn't know we had a model." -apples @_@;;;
  • Order E7P Encoder
  • Assist Mechanical with Battery/CRio Mount
  • Get Set of Same Mice (backups)      Ordered  Received
  • Final Electrical Mounting Design
  • Design Protection for Electronics on Outside of Bot (or get help from Mechanical)
  • Mount Mechanism (Jaguar) controllers on side board (or any other components we have "extra" of, like sidecar).
