  1. Plug in the power and Ethernet to the radio.
  2. Wait for an orange light or a blue light other than the power light to turn on.
  3. Hold the reset button for 10 seconds.
  4. Wait for the light to stop flashing.
  5. Wait for the light to resume flashing.

The radio has now been reset and should have an IP address of 192.168.0.50, if done improperly, the IP address was most likely originally 10.15.11.1.

  1. Make sure the D-link unit is in AP mode by checking the switch in the back.
  2. Set the laptop to the IP address of 192.168.0.51.  If this turns out to not work, check 10.15.11.51 to see if the radio eset was done improperly.
  3. Connect the radio to your computer using an Ethernet cable.
  4. Type the radio IP address into internet explorer, not other web browsers as there is a chance for them to not display things properly.
    1. Username = admin
    2. Password = <blank>
  5. Click on Manual Wireless Network Setup.
  6. Enable wireless, Wireless Network Name = 1511, 802.11 Band should be set to 2.4 GHz, 802.11 Mode should be "Mixed 802.11n, 802.11g and 802.11b", do not enable auto channel scan, wireless channel should be set to 1, transmission rate should be Best(automatic), Channel Width should be 20 MHz, and visibility status should be visible.
  7. SAVE YOUR SETTINGS.
  8. Go to Control Panel.
  9. Go to Network Connections.
  10. Right click on Wireless Network Connections and select View Available Wireless Networks.
  11. Slect Change Advanced Settings.
  12. Select Internet Protocol (TCP/IP) and click on properties.
  13. Select Use the following IP address.
    1. If the reset was done correctly earlier, input the IP address of 192.168.0.104, if done improperly, input 10.15.11.104
    2. Subnet mask: 255.255.255.0
  14. Go to Control Panel.
  15. Go to Network Connections.
  16. Right click on Wireless Network Connections and select View Available Wireless Networks.
  17. Connect to 1511.
