Master Task List

  1. Complete 1 bump, 1 platform, and 1 tower for team testing
  2. Purchase rest of materials for ball returns, carpet for bumps, foam for goals, wood for goals 
  3. Complete rest of bumps (12) 1/24
  4. Complete Goals and Goal Ramps (4) 2/2
  5. Complete ball returns and towers  (2)
  6. Make Tridents (2) 1/23
  7. Create vision targets (4) 
  8. Look to see if crate or alliance station walls need maintenance or improvment
  9. Verify that the crate dimensions are the same as last year.  Determine if we need to alter the crate.(Our crate is 48" x 48" x 69")

4.6.1.All Crates MUST:
1. Weigh less than 400 pounds when fully loaded.
2. "Sit" on 2 pieces of 4" x 4" lumber, spaced at least 28" apart so it can be moved by a forklift.
3. Have a footprint no greater than 4' x 4' and be no taller than 5'10" (70") high. This maximum includes the 4" x 4" lumber mentioned above.
4. Be constructed so it can withstand stacking during transport and storage.
5. Have “TEAM # XXXX” (insert your team number) painted or stenciled in letters at least 6” high on at least one side of the crate. 

  1. Make sure the crate still has the applicable shelves. Shelves are in the closet

1/26 Additions:

  1. Determine carpet Purchased 1/30/10
  2. Determine coefficient of friction of spandex vs foam by its self  Spandex will be used 1/30/10
  3. Create shopping list for ball returns Material bought on McMaster 1/28 and at Home Depot 1/30
  4. Assemble last goal front ramp 1/26
  5. 4 angle pieces for front of goals 2/2
  6. Create tops for 3 goals 1/31
  7. Do we have enough soccer balls?(need 12) & ball pump Theo will contact Phys. Ed. Dept for loan
  8. Look at full field current model- how to integrate goals- over goal wall with vision targets
  9. Goal netting for sides? Ordered 1/28
  10. Lag bolts for tower 4X4s  Ordered 1/28 - McMaster
  11. Determine final connections of bumps, towers, and platforms to carpet and field sides
  12. Cut notches (2) in 4 bumps for tower 4X4 connections 2/6
  13. Re-print 4 vision targets 2/16
  14. Our versions of the 3 remaining corrals- Solution: Theo will provide construction fence (orange/plastic) 2/9
  15. Need lots of strong velcro- hefty Hefty HEFTY Ordered from Mcmaster 2/4
  16. Carpet (12) bumps  2/6
  17. Wrap foam in spandex  2/3
  18. Attache Foam to inside of goals 2/6
  19. Determine Back frame for vision targets
  20. Fix (glue) trident that is currently not attached completely. 2/7
